It has already been a busy year. We started off strong with a project at home! I finally got to dress up my back hallway, which I had been hoping to do for a really long time. We added some board and batten and a fun, colourful picture frame row! Once the weather warms up this spring we will replace our back door with a nice full glass pane and really open up this space to our back deck. I cannot wait!

Next up was the work at Maple Hub Boutique. If you are local, there is a 99.9% chance you know of Lindsay and her wonderful company. This year, she took an exciting leap and took over the storefront space from Blissed out and thus, maple hub brick and mortar has been born! If you are a small business, you need to look into her business, click HERE to learn more! I went over to support her with her wallpaper install in the new boutique and let me tell you, this was the biggest wallpaper project I have ever taken on! I think the souls of my feet ached for days after being up/down on the ladder for hours working on this 13 foot wall. Getting to the end of this one felt AMAZING.

This is still a work in progress but RRD is also working with a client for a new build of their gorgeous house. I have been building their renders and finishes for the kitchen, dining and living room. We are so close to the finish line on this project and I am so excited for it to start coming to life during their build!

LAST, but not least, I got to head over to my sister and help get her home makeover started. Starting with her basement she worked hard to give the drywall a little overhaul after it being the main play area for hockey in her house. You can imagine the work she put in for prep to get it ready for paint when it was essentially the kids indoor mini stick rink for the last couple of years. She picked this deep beautiful purple and it turned out even better than I could have imagined. This Refresh comes in a long lines of plans we have for her house now that her kids are finally a bit older and she can put some time towards it! We have her main floor to paint, we are planning on re-doing some flooring, adding some built in storage in her mudroom area, and doing a bit of work to modernize some areas throughout the main floor! Her house is amazing so I am really excited for all these changes to come down the pipe.

With this much of a great start to 2025, I know the projects to come will be fantastic. I cant wait to work on them and share them with you are we complete them!

Jamie
