And with that the 2024 season....

Comes to a close! I am sure you have seen that trend online (I LOVE watching peoples yearly highlight reels, it brings me so much joy).

Today I submitted my final assignment for my fall 2024 term. My first term back in school in over 10 years and for a condensed degree of all things. Its condensed to be done quicker which means the terms are short but packed full of information and assignments and done year round. The term came in hard and fast with really no breaks. It took master scheduling and lots of after hours time to make sure I was on time and submitting good quality work. There were a couple times in one class (my least interesting one) where I slipped and submitted moderate work, I won't like. However, looking back I feel I already learned SO much and I am so grateful that I picked this program to complete my degree in. By the end of 2027 I should complete my Bachelor of Interior Design and by 2030 I would love to transition full time to interior design. I am putting these down in writing, which is terrifying, but also necessary so that I can put that out into the universe.

I had some super fun projects I worked on, I drafted some kitchens, I designed some boutique hotels but honestly most importantly, I definitely improved my skills!

I am excited for a couple weeks off to reset and relax, as much as I can being home with a one and three year old at home! I hope you all get the chance to do the same.
