Welcome Fall

Welcome September!

I, unintentionally, took months off from the website. I had a heavy focus on my family, projects and school and ultimately something had to fall off the list. I have been looking forward to September for some time! Its the start of a new season, and in my house my first girly pop heads into the school system starting Pre-K. Our first introduction to school life, not just daycare. I also head into an extended break for school, until spring, to try and re-coup and get used to our new routines. School, paired with fall activities like dance and gymnastics just felt like a good time to pause a figure out our routine and just give myself a mental break from the extreme workload I have been taking on since October '24.

That doesn't mean we are stopping though - if you have been following along on instagram you know I am working with my hardest client yet. My husband. (jk love you babe!). We are in the midst of planning our bathroom reno (total gut) AND a bathroom facelift. We are working on our ensuite and our main bath. Our main bath just needs a little TLC and we plan to do that this winter. Our ensuite needs a total gut and re-model so that is penciled in for the summer but time/budget will tell. I have been busy working on both so that we know what we are up against when the time comes and so we can budget accordingly. On top of that, we have a little project in Halle's room to give her more storage (her room has no closet) so we are doing a little built in/murphy bed style shelving unit to give her a bit more dresser space! So as you can see, there is no shortage of what is to come!

I am really looking forward to this season for my family and personal life AND for the business and how that looks now that I have a break from school and can really focus on refining some skills like rendering, planning and floorplanning! I have been working hard behind the scenes perfecting my software skills so I can work faster and better. This break is looking to be the best time to put those skills to use!

I figured I would share some of the versions we have worked through in our bathrooms if you have not had a peak to see them on the 'gram :) It has been a real designer challange to create my own room WHILE considering the style of my husband. We are very different!

So as you can see, there is no shortage of things coming your way! I will be much more present here and I am glad that you have stuck around. Happy September and talk to you all soon!

Cheers,

Jamie
